Blessed Like A Queen in Everyway
Phenomenal B.L.A.Qu.E. Women, LLC was founded by Leatrice De Bruhl to be the thing she could not find when her own life fell apart: a sister who had been through it and knew the way out.
I lived in the valley, so I know the way out
Leatrice De Bruhl is a motivational and inspirational speaker, certified grief coach and mentor, author, mental health advocate and educator, and the CEO and founder of Phenomenal B.L.A.Qu.E. Women, LLC. On Instagram she calls herself a “sister in the storm,” walking with women through loss toward purpose.
She tells her own story in Craziness Faith: You Have It or You Don’t, and she tells it without flinching. She survived abuse. She built a successful career that became clouded by suspicion and unjust accusations, faced relentless public scrutiny, and served a season of incarceration. Those were seasons that tested every ounce of her faith.
And then came the heartbreak that outweighed all of it: the loss of her beloved son, Malik, known as Leek. In the middle of overwhelming grief and unanswered questions, she wrestled with the question so many people carry quietly. Where is God in the middle of suffering?
The faith she found there looked crazy to the world. It is the faith this company is built on.
I didn’t become a mentor because I had it all together. I became one because I lived in the valley.Leatrice De Bruhl

Truth first, faith at the center, no clichés
Whether she is on a stage, on a call with a grieving mother, or walking a woman through a mentorship season, the approach is the same. Say the true thing, even when it is hard. Keep God at the center without using Him to skip the hard part. And leave people with something they can do tomorrow, not just something to feel tonight.
Coaching and mentorship here are faith-based support, not therapy or medical care. Leatrice is a mental health advocate precisely because she believes in getting the right help, and she will say plainly when a licensed professional is what someone needs.
Speaking engagement travel; coaching and mentorship happen by phone and video, wherever you are.
